Alice Mae Compeau of Merrill Michigan, passed away Saturday April 21, 2012 at Warwick Living Center in Alma, age 78 years. Alice Mae Schoof was born on April 2, 1934 in Hemlock Michigan, the daughter of the late Raymond and Erma Schoof. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wheeler. She enjoyed church, bingo and spending time with family and friends, working at Chemical Bank and the many years driving bus for Breckenridge Community Schools. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane (Steve) Edwards; a son Robert (Amy) Compeau; grandchildren Korey and Kelsie Juhas, Alec and Nataleigh Compeau, Malcolm Edwards. A Great-grandaughter Lillian Mae and Brothers Reuben (Marge)Schoof, Don Schoof, Sister-in-laws Edith Schoof and Mary Erskine, and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband Francis Compeau and siblings; Del Schoof, Ruth Watson, Arlene Erskine, Lois Rant. The funeral service will take place 11:00am Tuesday April 24, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church 10020 E. Monroe Rd, Wheeler. Rev Larry A. Warsinski will officiate with the burial in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge. Fruiends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company, Merrill Chapel Monday 2:00 to 8:00pm And at the church on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
