NATALIE — Emily Hornberger, 86, of 116 Center St., Natalie, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at her home.

Born Dec. 23, 1926, in Centralia, she was a daughter of the late Larry and Mary Solop.

She attended Centralia schools.

On Feb. 28, 1948, in Centralia, she married Bert Hornberger, who preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1984.

Emily was a member of Patronage of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, Marion Heights.

Surviving are a son, Paul Hornberger and his wife, Carol, of Aristes; three daughters, Mary Gilbert, of Mount Carmel, Jean Cordell, of Paxinos, and Rita Hornberger, of Mount Carmel; two grandsons, a granddaughter, three great-grandsons, and a great-granddaughter.

HORNBERGER — Emily Hornberger, 86, of 116 Center St., Natalie. Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor. with the Rev. Ruslan Romanyuk officiating. Burial will be in the Patronage of the Mother of God Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Patronage of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, c/o Transfiguration Church, 303 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin, PA 17872.
