The Mayo survey shows 3 Hopkins buried next to each other. They are
Elkanah 1720 age 20
Jonathan 1716 age 24th year
Stephen 1733 age 63d year - no headstone for Stephen when Mayo did the survey in the late 1800's. Mayo says Stephen 1733 married Sarah, daughter of Capt. Thomas Howes Jr. Clearly Stephen 1733 is the father of Elkanah and Jonathan

Mayo gives the line of Elkanah as Elkanah 5, Stephen 4, Stephen 3, Giles 2, Stephen 1. He gives the same line for Jonathan.

So Stephen 1733 had a father Stephen 3 but there is no indication that Stephen 3 is buried in Brewster OBG - he is not listed in the Mayo survey. We don't know where Stephen 3 is buried. We have a monument for Giles 2 in Eastham Cove. We know he died in Eastham but we really don't know where he is buried. I don't know where Stephen 1 is buried but I know there is no record of him being buried on the Cape.
