Luther Bryan Grant, 87, of Fowler St., died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a short illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with the Revs. John R Christian and Kent Workman officiating and burial in Riverside Cemetery.

A Native of Christian County, he was born Sept. 30, 1900, the son of the late Enoch and Francis Blankenship Grant. A retired locksmith, he was a member of Second Baptist Church. His first wife, Mallie Rogers Grant, did several years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Belva Henderson Adams Grant, two stepsons, Granville and Lynn Adams, both of Trigg County; a stepdaughter, Martha Grove, Nashville, Tenn., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
