Died 10:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 1995, at his residence in Denham Springs. He was 67 and a native of Independence. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting was held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting was held at the funeral home chapel, 10 a.m. until religious services at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Roy Crum and the Rev. Thomas Wascom. Interment in Denham Springs Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Dera Nix Albin; two daughters and a son-in-law, Amy Albin Freeman and Ruth Denise and David H. Tanner, all of Denham Springs; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Mark and Stacie Albin, Walker, and Amos Edison "Eddie" Albin II, Denham Springs; four brothers, Ted, Joe, Leonce and Elmer Albin; and seven grandchildren: Damion, Dustin and Kayla Freeman, Joshua Tanner, Brittney, Brandon and Amos E. "Trey" Albin III; and a friend, Dr. Maurice Nassar. Preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Lula Albin; and a sister, Ruth Albin. He was a member of New HopeBaptist Church.
