Services for Mrs. Hazel Wheeler Whitmore, 78, of 6423 Carpenter Avenue Windsor Heights, who died Wednesday of a heart ailment at the Dowell Manor Nursing Home in West Des Moines will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McLaren's Funeral Home with burial in Glendale Cemetery.

A life long resident of Des Moines, Mrs. Whitmore was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a charter member of the Jean Marie Cardinell Chapter and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, John P Schoenenberger
of Des Moines; 2 sisters, Mrs. Edna Wallace of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, & Mrs George Holland
of Des Moines, and 2 grandchildren.
