PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING.
Mrs. Opal Baker, wife of Floyd Baker of this city, died, at their home on Prairie street this morning at 11 o'clock, after an illness of about two weeks.
The deceased was a daughter of Mrs. Sallie Mayfield, and was 27 years of age.
She leaves to mourn their loss a mother, husband and three small children, Edith Josephine, Damon Adison and Esther Gertude, besides other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the home, conducted by Revs. Edwards and Hudiburg (so?). Interment in Oakwood cemetery.
