Jasper is the son of James Elliot Acree and Nancy Maria Coomer Acree. He is the brother of my Grandma; Betty Acree Romines and he is the husband of Ella.
Uncle Jap was a very kind and sweet man. I always loved seeing him at Grandpa's farm and later in my life he came to our house for visits as well. He and my Mother were very close and she loved him very much.
On Grandpa's farm there was an old cot outside and I can remember him sleeping on that cot out in the sun, and I remember I always wanted to go wake him up! I'll bet he enjoyed me too! :o)
