service in WWII was at Camp McCoy, POW prison; married in Sep, 1946; they raised a family of four children: Ann (Stephan) Lakey, Joseph (Laura) Verreau, Kathleen (Michael) Benson and Cecelia (Michael) Neubecker. Also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Founding family of Divine Child parish, Dearborn, MI. Ernest hired into the U.S. Post Office Department in 1940. He worked on the Railway Post Office between Detroit and Chicago. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1972 after 32 years of service.
