Mrs. Owen Cobb.
Mrs. Owen Cobb died at her home, west of Philadelphia, Thursday morning, September 22nd, at 2 o'clock, aged 59 years, 11 months and 28 days. The funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Philadelphia Friday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. T. S. Scott, and she was laid to rest in the Philadelphia cemetery.
Mrs. Cobb was born September 26th, 1861, in Shelbyville, Ill., was married to Owen Cobb May 16th, 1880. To this union were born three children, two sons and one daughter. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, one son, Ira, and one daughter, Pearl: one grand-daughter, Ida May Cobb. She had one sister, Mrs. John Haney, of Monroe City; three brothers, Jas. and John White, of Philadelphia, and Thos. White, of Hannibal; one half sister, Mrs. Sam Sandifer, of near Monroe; three half brothers, Robert and Isaac Gander, of Shelby county, and Harvey Gander, of Warren.
