Walter Clem Harrell, 61, died at his home 2217 Pickett street, this afternoon at 1 o’clock following a several months’ illness.

Funeral services are announced for 3 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Stringer and Sons chapel and interment will follow in East Mount cemetery. The nephews will act as pallbearers.

Born April 8, 1881, Mr. Harrell was the son F.E.P. and Laura Harrell, pioneer Hunt county residents and had held positions as night watchman with the M-K-T Railway company and Greenville Cotton Oil Mill.

He is survived by he (sic) following brothers: Ed Harrell, Wolfe City; Jess Harrell, Fort Worth, and Marvin Harrell of Sacramento, Calif., John Harrell of Moorecroft, Mont., and sisters, Mrs. A.S. Johnson, Mrs. C.C. Kelly and Mrs. C.A. Hendrix, Sr., of this city and Mrs. T.E. Spaulding of Dallas.
