"Mrs. Anna Drews, 76, died early this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Cora Schmidt at 946 North 8th street, after a lingering illness. The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer funeral home from Sunday until the funeral, Monday. The Rev. Theo. Uetzmann, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran church, will officiate at the services at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

"Mrs. Drews, nee Anna Mueller, was born June 12, 1867 on the family farm in Gibson (Township). On February 23, 1892 she was married to Henry Drews at Gibson (Township), WI; she was age 24, he was 35.

"Survivors include one son, Harry, who lives in the city; two brothers, Otto Mueller, of Maribel; and William Mueller of Antigo; and one sister, Mrs. Schmidt."

A homemaker & mother of two, Anna died of complications of uremia at age 76.
