COLLONGUES - Sylvan A. "Sac" Collongues, Sr., a retired self-employed landscape gardener died on Monday, August 7, 2000 at 2:31 o'clock a.m. Husband of the late Hazel Wille Collongues. Father of Sylvan A. Collongues, Jr., Dolores C. Hartman, Joyce Corne and Melvin J. Collongues, Sr. Son of the late Emma Louise Gratia and Omer Honore Collongues. Brother of Cecil Molaison and the late Francois Collongues. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Aged 91 years, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Jefferson Parish for the past 33 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services from the METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME OF L.A. MUHLEISEN & SON, 2929 Metairie Rd., on Wednesday, August 9, 2000 at 2:00 o'clock p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may visit after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday.
