Gladys had inflammatory rheumatism which affected her heart. She is buried in Hiawatha Cemetery. Had first been buried at Horton and was moved to Hiawatha family plot when her mother Rosa Bell died.

Huber - Gladys, the 9-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Huber, died at her home in Horton Tuesday of inflammatory rheumatism. She had not been well for nearly two year. The Hubers are former residents of Hiawatha, having moved to Horton in the spring. Burial will probably be made in Horton Wednesday.
