Adam John Ross Sr., 71, a Gig Harbor resident his whole life, died August 20, 1998. Adam was a commercial fisherman, fishing his entire life owning and operating the Chinook and Adana R boats. He is a member of the Eagles, Sportsman's Club, Elks, Gig Harbor Fisherman Civic Club, and of the Steilacoom Indian Tribe; also member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and was known for being a good cook, especially his Planked Salmon. He was preceded in death by son, Michael and daughter, Linda Ross.
