Abrams. On Tuesday, November 10, 1914 at his residence Takoma Park, George B. Abrams. Funeral from the residence of his son-in-law, H.D Dickson, 1445 Girard street n.w., Friday afternoon, November 13 at 2:30.
Abrams. Members of the Association of Oldest Inhabitants of the District of Columbia, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services of our late associate, George B. Adams, at his late residence, 1445 Girard street s.w., Friday the 13th instant of 2:30 p.m.

George B. Abrams Dies After Brief Illness
George B. Abrams, a clerk in the drafting division of the general land office for sixteen years and a survivor of the Ford's Theater Disaster died at his residence, 213 Maple avenue, Takoma Park, last evening. He had been ill for only a brief period. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it is expected that the obsequies will be held Friday at the residence of his son-in-law, H.D. Dickson, 1445 Girard street northwest.
Mr. Abrams, who was seventy-eight years of age, was for many years previous to his connection with the general land office connected with the War Department.
Came Here From New York
He came to this city from New York. He always took a deep interest in the Association of Oldest Inhabitants of the District, of which he was a member for a number of years. Being a veteran of the civil war, he early affiliated with the Grand Army of the Republic on his arrival in this city and continued his work in the organization until his death. He was also a member of Pentalpha Lodge, No. 23, F.A.A.M., which will have charge of the interment.

Masons Will Have Charge of Ceremonies at Cemetery
Funeral services for George B. Abrams of the general land office, who died Tuesday evening, will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence of his daughter Mrs. H.D. Dickson, 1445 Girard street northwest, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Thomas C. Clark, pastor of the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Congressional cemetery, where the services will be in charge of the officers of Pentalpha Lodge, No. 23, F.A.A.M. Mr. Abrams was also a member of Garfield Post of the G.A.R., and of the Association of Oldest Inhabitants of the District of Columbia. He was born in Albany county,N.Y. in 1836. Two children, G.C. Abrams and Mrs. Dickson, and three grandchildren, G.R. Dickson, Mrs. Charles Seal and C.J. Abrams, survive.
