MRS. ARCHIE GARTIN CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Archie Gartin, 27, of this city, died Friday afternoon at the Yocom hospital after a week's illness with inflamation of the bowels
Mrs. Gartin was formerly Miss Beulah Burley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Burley, and her entire life had been spent in Chariton.
She is survived by her husband, Fireman 1st Class of the U. S. Navy, located at Port Hueneme, Calif.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burley, of Chariton; and four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Callahan, of Whittier, Calif., and Merna , Leona and Jessie Burley, of this city.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. E. F. Partridge, of the Baptist church, were held at two o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Beardsley funeral home, and burial was in the Sharon cemetery.
