Miss Laura H. Peterson died Thursday in the Hill Haven Convalescent Hospital. Funeral will be private at the Portland Crematorium.
Miss Peterson, who taught Greek and Latin at Lincoln High School for many years, received her B.A. degree from Friends University in Wichita, Kan., and her M.A. from the University of Chicago. She obtained her L1.D. from Northwestern Law School and was admitted to the Oregon State Bar. She also studied French at Sourbonne University in Paris.
She has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa the Orient and South America.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, Mazamas, American Association of the University Women, PEO Sisterhood, Phi Delta Delta legal fraternity and the "Queens Bench" of Oregon.
Miss Peterson is survived by her sister, Mrs. G. E. Spencer of Portland.
