MUNCIE--Donna Maxine Coyle, 88, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her daughter's residence in Muncie.

She was born November 17, 1923 in Allen County, the daughter of Edward N. and Edna (McDougal) Halter.

She grew up in the Leo-Cedarville area and graduated from Leo High School. Mrs. Coyle worked in the bakery at Maloleys Grocery in Ft. Wayne for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed golf, sewing, reading, serving others and her Lord. She was a member of the Cedarville Community Church in Cedarville.

Surviving are her daughter, Alexa Stanley (husband-George), Muncie; her son, Greg Coyle (wife-Raquel), Franklin, TN; six grandchildren, Justin Coyle, Faenina Coyle, Preston Coyle, Adrienne Gutbier, Jessica Stanley and Megan Stanley; her great-granddaughter, Madeline Gutbier; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Coyle, who died in 1994, four brothers, and three sisters.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Cedarville Community Church in Cedarville, with Pastor Monte Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Leo. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary, in Muncie, where a "Celebration of Life Service" will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Cox officiating. The family will also receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church in Cedarville.

Memorials may be sent to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of East Central Indiana, 3201 N. CR 600 W., Muncie, IN 47304.
