AGEE, Ruth M. (87) died peacefully at McCullough Hyde Hospital on April 19, 2012. Ruth was born on January 28, 1925, the third child of Rufus and Rethia Thomas in Richmond, KY. On April 12, 1948, she married William (Bill) E. Agee in Georgetown, KY and the couple moved to Hamilton, OH to start a construction business.
Through their journey in life together, they had 2 successful businesses. After retiring from construction, they started Agee True Value Hardware in Oxford, OH. The hardware store stayed in Oxford for 27 years.
Her beloved Bill preceded her in death in 1996. Ruth had 5 children. Beverly (Robert) Weaver and Leslie (Vicky) Agee both preceded her in death.
Her surviving children are Gail (Jon) Rinal of Camden, Donna (Jim) Carter and Kelli (Kevin) Kuhn both of Oxford; 15 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren who will miss her greatly.
Ruth was also preceded in death by her parents;
siblings Ruby Winkler, Rina Ambrose, R.W. Thomas, Roy Thomas and Ronald Thomas.
Her surviving siblings are Rosa Venable, Russell Thomas and Rita Moody, along with nieces and nephews, who, many were like her own children.
