Funeral services for Audrey Bernice Key, 85, former longtime resident of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2005 at Westhill Church of Christ, 1100 Westhill Dr. with David Tappe officiating. Burial will be in Bono Cemetery.
Audrey Bernice Key, a retired secretary, loving mother and wife and devoted Christian passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 in Sherman, Texas. She was born December 6, 1921, in Bono, Texas, the daughter of John and Inez (Beckman) Hill. She married James Turner Key, Sr. January 31, 1942, in Cleburne, Texas. He preceded her in death August 1, 1997. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ.
Known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as "Our Meme", she would be a perfect "Role model" for all grandparents.
She is survived by her son, James Turner Key, Jr. and wife, Pam, of Sherman; sister, Helen Harris, of Cleburne; grandchildren, David Turner Key and wife, Sandi and Kimberly Sue Tankersley and husband, Darren, also of Sherman and seven great-grandchildren.
