One of original owners of land pre-empted and homesteaded in Wright county. Samuel W. Fuller is listed in Township 121, Range 24, Fractional Township (Monticello). It states in 1856 Samuel W. Fuller claimed parcel 19 on June 10 and parcel 20 on June 10.

1857 census Town of Bedford, Wright Co., MN (this was a town on paper that never became a town! They call them the Paper Townships!)

Land became part of Monticello, MN where he lived out his life.
