Emanuel C Costolo, husband of Gladys E Costolo, died at his home in Mt Lena, Tuesday evening of a heart condition. He was 59.
He was born at Fairmont, WV, son of the late Lloyd J & Eva Holmes Costolo. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He was a retired Naval employee of Washington, DC. He was a member of Joseph H Milans Masonic Lodge No 38, AFAM, Washington; Columbia Lodge No 174 IAM. He had recently been employed by the Washington County Hospital.
Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters, Mrs Earl Whitifield, Hawaii, Mrs Patrick Hardesty, Hyattsville; son, Emanuel C Jr, Washington, six grandchildren; sisters, Mrs Crystal Maplaee, Fairmont, Mrs Troy Nicholas, Fairmont, Mrs Ardie Dodd, Grant Town, Wv, Mrs Robert Wise, Fairmont, Mrs Lester Floyd, Florida, Mrs Delva Hiesman, Pittsburgh.
The body was removed to the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro where services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev Daniel Rosenberger officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Masonic graveside services by Hagerstown Lodge No 217. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9.
