Glenn was the thirteenth of 15 children born to Henry Carl Page and Anna Elizabeth Witt Page. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served with the 93rd Airborne Troop Carrier Squadron during World War II. Glenn married Lois Ann Hyde on October 22, 1949 in Elk Mound, Dunn, Wisconsin. They have two children.
