She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church, West Memorial Bible Class, Senior Fellowship of Suffolk Christian Church, Women's Fellowship and retired secretary with the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Mrs. Haslett is survived by her daughter Nancy H. Pichel (Marcy) of Suffolk; son Hunter W. Haslett of Isle of Wight County; two grandchildren Ann P. Shield (Jamie) and Frank H. Pichel (Hedwig); one great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was held Monday, April 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory, 509 West Washington Street, Suffolk, VA 23434 by Rev. Michael D. Halley with burial in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
