Helen died 29 April 1925 in Manitowoc, WI. From her obituary (Manitowoc Herald News, 30 April 1925): "Mrs. Helen Holschbach, wife of Joseph Holschbach, died at the family home at 922 South Twentieth street yesterday noon after an illness of eight months.
"The funeral will be held from the home Saturday morning with services at Saint Boniface Catholic church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. The Rev. Kerstens will officiate and burial will be at Calvary.
"Mrs. Holschbach a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Franz, was born in this city April 28, 1899, and celebrated her twenty-sixth birthday Tuesday. She attended Saint Boniface school and five years ago, May 12, 1920, was married to Mr. Holschbach, who with one son, Kenneth, aged two, survive to mourn her death.
"Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Franz, and one brother, John I. Franz, also survive her. Mrs. Holschbach devoted her life to her home and she had won for herself a wide circle of friends to whom news of the death will come as a shock."
