Obituary - John W. Thomas, Sr., 72, 1800 E. Graves Ave., died Monday, July 13. Mr. Thomas was retired from the security department at CityTrust Banking in Connecticut. Born in Huntington, N.Y., he moved to Central Florida in 1987. He was a member of the Florida Sheriff's Association, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rites, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Survivors: wife, Beverly; daughter, Judieth Siemers, Garden Grove, Calif.; stepdaughters, Sharon Pestritto, Torrington, Conn., Lori Peters, Northport; son, John W. Jr., Buena Park, Calif.; stepson, Robert Avellino, Modesto, Calif.; sister, Vivian Munson, Orange City; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Lankford Funeral Home, Orange City.
