Mrs. Cohoon, a native of Tyrrell County, was a member of Gum Neck Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Inez McGowan of Creswell and Minnie Lou Sawyer of Elizabeth City; a son, Worth B. Cohoon Jr. of Creswell; her mother, Winnie S. Armstrong of Columbia; a sister, Tebia Jones of Elizabeth City; a brother, Lionel J. Armstrong of Columbia; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Azalea Memorial Gardens, Columbia, by the Rev. Mitchell Edwards. Walker Funeral Home, Columbia, is handling arrangements.
