Jaculine (Jacobina) was born in Hvar, Croatia, and was a daughter of Domonick and Madoline (Gamborsi) Vucetich. She immigrated to America in 1882. In 1887 she married Anton Antonich, also of Croatia, at Pierce County, Washington state. Their first child Mary was born there in 1888. They moved to Astoria in about 1889, where Anton worked as a fisherman. 5 more children were born there. They were: George, Anthony, Rose, Dewey and Anna. In her later years, she and her husband ran a confectionery store in downtown Astoria. Several of her children, including sons George and Dewey, preceded her in death.
