Last Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, Mrs. Lula Sinclair, who was the wife of Mr. Ed Sinclair, died at her late home in this city. Her death was not unexpected, as she was a victim of pulmonary trouble and had been confined to her room and bed for almost a year.

The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bell, this place, and was about 34 years old. When a young girl, she made a profession of her faith in Christ, united with the Methodist Church, and lived a consistent member until she was called to her reward.

The deceased leaves a husband, four children, mother and father, and several brothers and sisters, who are deeply grieved on account of this sad dispensation of Providence.

The children are all small, but fortunately they are not entirely left without a mother's care. Their grandmother, who lives close by, will ever be ready to lead them in paths of righteousness.

The funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Monday forenoon at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W.H.C. Sandidge and Eld. Z.T. Williams, a number of relatives and friends being present. At the close of the services all that was mortal of this good woman was laid to rest in the city cemetery. The sympathy of this community is extended to the husband and children and other relatives.
