93, of Eau Claire, WI Formerly of White Bear Lake, MN Age 93, died peacefully at home on Friday, April 5, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Grace earned a Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Queens College, New York. In 1943, Grace married Joseph Abere. During WW II, she was the first female ticket report auditor for American Airlines. Grace and Joe moved to White Bear Lake, MN in 1948 and raised seven children. They moved to Eau Claire, WI, in 2003; while Joe passed away soon after, Grace enjoyed many years at Heritage Assisted Living. Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her seven children, Linda Abere, Dennis (Anne) Abere, Cynthia (Michael) Cragg, Christine (Anthony) Arnerich, Kathleen (William) Morin, Mary Jeanne (John) Hecht, and Douglas (Ann) Abere; plus 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
