Mr. John Bugler of the town of Two Rivers died Friday of apoplexy. Mr. Bugler was born in Austria and came to Manitowoc County, in 1870. He settled on his farm soon after. By hard work and frugality he cleared away the woods which covered it entirely and transferred it into a fertile and well kept range. Mr. Bugler was for 15 years assessor of the town of Two Rivers. He was a sober and industrious farmer of that class where energy and ambition have made the great west what it is now. He leaves a wife, four boys and six girls. His funeral occurred on Sunday afternoon and was under the auspices of the Odd Fellows Lodge from Grace Congregational Church. Rev. J.S. Morris preached the funeral sermon.
