Betty lived in the Lindsay area for the largest part of her life. She graduated from Lindsay High School in 1985. She married Kurt Hassler of Lindsay, and together they produced two sons, Bryan and Cole.
Betty loved to be around her family and friends, and always had a smile to brighten the cloudiest of days. She will be sadly missed by many.
Betty is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Harrison Loyd and Queretha Franklin of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Lacefield of Borger, Texas.
She is survived by her two sons, Bryan and Cole; her parents, Zrada Milburn of Oklahoma City and James Lacefield of Dalhart, Texas; and two half-sisters, Jessica and Rachel Lacefield.
Rev. Mike Roberts will officiate at memorial services to be held at the Banner Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at 2:00 p.m.. Betty,s cremains will be intered at the Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
