Widow of Bakery Shop Owner
Died At Her Home At 69
Mrs. Augusta Cerull, widow of the late August Cerull, pioneer Manitowoc bakery shop operator, died last night at the home, 911 South Tenth street. She had been in failing health for the past six months. She was 69 years of age.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p, m. from the Wattawa, Urbauek and Schlei funeral
home and at 2 p. m. from the First Reformed church, the Rev. Menke officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Augusta Wagner, was
born in Germany and came to this country with her parents when a child. The family located in this city. She was married here in 1883 to August Cerull, who operated a bakery on South Tenth street for many years and later retired. Mr. Cerull died two years ago.
Mrs. Cerull was a member of the War Mothers, and also of the Missionary society and the Ladles aid
society of the Reformed church.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. John Herman and Mrs. Robert Owens of this city, Mrs. Bruno Daetz and Mrs. John Gates, Tow Rivers; and three sons, Emil and Harry of this city and Charles of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Seehaver of Cedarburg and Mrs. Edward Schneider, Chicago; a brother Herman Wagner of Rockton Park, Ill., 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Friday noon until the hour of the funeral.
