Hershel L. Trowbridge, 88, Marion, died Sunday in his residence.
Mr. Trowbridge was born in Point Isabel to James Thomas and Mary Alta (Whistler) Trowbridge. Both parents are deceased. He had lived in Grant County for most of his life. He was a self-employed barber, retiring in 1994. He was married to Carolyn Lenear for 45 years.
Survivors include three sisters, Audrey Banter, Marion, Jeanette Black, Tampa, Fla., and Mildred Johnson, Buena Park, Calif., and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; and a brother, Charles.
Burial will be in Knox Chapel, Point Isabel, at a later date.
Needham-Storey Funeral Service, North Chapel, Marion, will be handling arrangements.
