Bertha V. Gross, 66, of Pottsville, died Wednesday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Born in Pottsville, July 5, 1927, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna Fenstermacher Ent. She attended Pottsville schools.
She had been employed at the former Miss Pennsylvania, Pottsville.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.
Surviving are her husband, Chester R., to whom she was married 47 years; two sons, Robert R., Larksville, and William G., Pottsville; three daughters, Helen Guest, Leesport, Nancy Andrews, Gilberton, and Virginia Gross, Pottsville; a brother, Michael Ent, Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Jean Ent and Mary Honicker, both of Pottsville, and Ann Goss, Port Carbon; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Schlitzer-Allen–Pugh Funeral Home Inc., Pottsville. The Rev. Robert Reier will officiate. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville.
