Mary M. Beckley, 54, of 1847 Fernow Road, Marion, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital following a long illness.
Born July 25, 1930 at Marengo, she married Dean Beckley on Aug. 11, 1950, at Marion. She had resided in Marion since 1942 and was a member of Marion Post No. 298, American Legion Auxiliary and the Home Builders Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Sharon Skeesick of Cedar Rapids and Jo-An Belanger of Glendale, Calif.; a son, Dennis, at home; two sisters, Charlotte Morris of Marion and Anna Marie Carpenter of New Hampton; a brother John Nieland of Pheonix, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Murdoch Chapel in Marion, by the Rev. Dick Watkins. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial fund has been established.
