AMHERST - Mrs. Blanche (Ross) Vail, 82, of Philadelphia, Pa., died Tuesday in a local nursing home. A native of Philadelphia, she was a 1914 graduate of Goucher College, Maryland, and taught English in Camden, N.J. 37 years. She leaves a brother, Prof. William H. Ross of Amherst, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Chappell of Philadelphia. She was the widow of Edward Vail. Douglass funeral home is in charge. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sag Harbor, Long Island, N.Y.
