The Pantagraph (Bloomington,IL) Aug 21,1959---Mrs Cordelia Hetland, 81, of 617 W Water St, died at her home at 5:20pm Thursday after an illness of one year. She has been seriously ill two days. The funeral will be held at 2pm Sunday at the Raleigh J Harris Funeral Home. The Rev. R.J. Magel willl officiate. Burial will be in Rowe cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs Hetland was born June 16,1878, in Esmen township, daughter of John and Belle Highland Olson. She lived in Pontiac for 38 years. She was married to Oscar Hetland in Rowe Jan 1,1896. He died in 1945. Surviving are 5 daughters, Mrs Jeverna Abraham, Miss Olga Hetland, Mrs Ethel Johnson, Mrs Charlotte McGough, Mrs Marjorie Trible, all of Pontiac; 2 sons, Jesse, Pontiac; Orin, Streator; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death. She was a member of First Lutheran church.
