The mother of Lydia A. Sherwood is Chloe Rhumania Strobridge (William F. Sherwood's 2nd wife). William was married 3 times. First to Chloe's sister, Mary Strobridge (died in 1834), then to Chloe (dies in 1849) and lastly to Beulah Sawyer. In the 1850 FC, William appears with his 2 daughters (Chloe died the year prior), Sarah (age 14) and Lydia (age 12). In the 1860 FC, he appears with Beulah as his wife.
