Edward R. Kuwaye, 86, of Hilo, retired vice president and maintenance supervisor of Kuwaye Brothers Inc. and Allied Aggregates Corp., died Wednesday in Hilo Hospital. He was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Masako; daughter Elaine K. Yin; son Allan Y.; brothers Yasuo and Yoshinobu; sisters Chiyono Takemoto, Misao Sakamoto, Sumiko "Sue" Toyama and Sachiko Kanetake, and four grandchildren. Services: 4 p.m. Sunday at the Church of the Holy Cross, Hilo. Call after 2:30 p.m. Casual attire.
