Jodey K. Dickey, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, following a two-year illness. She was 81.
Mrs. Dickey was born April 14, 1931, in Branchton, Butler County, to Elmer B. and Jessie S. Coulter Hoffman.
She married Roland E. Dickey on Dec. 24, 1968.
Jodey retired in May of 1996 from Grove City College where she was employed in housekeeping for many years. She was of the Protestant faith.
Jodey was a 1949 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, a member of AARP and a former member of the Country Music Association. She previously volunteered at Trinity Living Center and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 220, Grove City.
She enjoyed playing bingo throughout her life and also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William M. Coulter.
