Services have been set for Dorothy M. Guczwa, 89, of Monroe, who died Friday at Mercy Memorial Hospital. She had been ill since March.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Liedel Funeral Home in Maybee, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday. She will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until services at 10:30 Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert Bauer, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Maybee.
Born July 6, 1915, in Detroit, she was the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Stein) Biniecki Sr. She married Edward Guczwa on May 16, 1956, in Angola, Ind.
Surviving are her husband and a sister, Irene Sobecki of Belleville.
