Thanks to fellow contributor, Lucile Phares Cobb, a death record for Nancy has been found. On the U.S. Federal Mortality Schedule, Morris Co. Enumeration Dist 109, Nancy is listed as age 72, widowed, born in Kentucky, died in Feb 1880 of Cholera.
However, on the 1880 Morris Co. Census, Enumeration Dist 95, taken in June, Nancy is listed as living with her son Samuel, widowed, age 77, born in Indiana.
It is most logical, either Samuel's wife misunderstood only currant living persons were needed or the census taker asked for all persons who had lived in the household for the year. Until, or if, this conflicting info can be solved, Lucile's info will be used.
"History of Titus County" by Traylor Russell states William Keith, Warren Cash Keith, William & Nancy Tigert are buried in the Old Keith Cemetery but no monument is found for them.
