Services Monday for Simona G. Bailey, 59
Simona G. Bailey, 59, of 1727 Eighth avenue, a resident of Marion for the last three years, died Friday in an Iowa City hospital.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1912, at Bailey, N.D. On April 3, 1943, at Oakland, Calif., she was married to Derrald "Jack" Bailey. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband; four sons, John H. Bailey and James P. Bailey of Cedar Rapids, Roger D. Bailey of Donnellson, and Arlow E. Bailey of Marion; four grandchildren; five sisters, Alla Beisser and Lena Kirchoff of Lewis, Mrs. Walter Kirchoff of Atlantic, Mrs. Leo Hebing of Oakland, Iowa, and Mrs. Bill Bigger of California; two brothers, Jacob Beisser of Canoga Park, Calif., and John Beisser of California.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Murdoch chapel in Marion conducted by the Rev. Don R. Martin. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery at Marion. Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p.m. Sunday.
