Allison - Thomas Theodore Bauman, 45, Friday in Cedar Valley Hospital at Charles City, where he had been taken Feb. 9 after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage at his farm home north of Allison; suffered a third stroke Thursday; born in Secor, Ill., Oct. 28, 1906, son of Dietrich and Hanna Bauman; came to Butler County with his parents in 1907; married Laura Wubbena at Vilmar, Feb. 26, 1931; couple farmed first near Shell Rock and moved to their present farm near Allison in 1936; leaves widow; two sons, Dale and Duane, Allison; his father, Dietrich, Shell Rock; two brothers, Dick and Theodore, Allison; five sisters, Mrs. Roy DeBower, Allison; Mrs. Emma Lahr, Waterloo; Mrs. Mary Loomis, Waverly; Mrs. Ray Weiland and Mrs. Al Reents, both of Shell Rock; preceding him were his mother; two sisters, Helen, and Mrs. John Schoeneman; a brother, John, and a son in infancy; funeral, 1:30 p.m. Monday at the home and at St. James Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, at 2; burial in Allison Cemetery; body at the Diehl Funeral Home.
