Funeral services for Roy Jennings, 82, of West Bend were held Wednesday after-noon at the West Bend Methodist church with the Rev. Galen Peekham officiating. Burial was in the West Bend cemetery with Schllhammer's of West Bend in charge.
Mr. Jennings died Monday afternoon at Palo Alto Memorial hospital of a lingering illness.
Born and reared at Boone, he came to West Bend 43 years ago and farmed here until retirement. In 1901 he married Gusta Cramblett at Boone. She preceded him in death last year.
Surviving are 10 children: Mrs. Jessie Klepper of Emmetsburg, Mrs. Marie Schmidt of Rolfe, Mrs. Bernice Perkins and Mrs. Gertrude Lowe of Rodman, Mrs. Frances Brewer of Peoria, Ill., Harold of Red Oak, Mrs. Ione Sanders of Pilot Mound, Mrs. Margie Hawes of Perkin, Ill., Mrs. Jaunita Schmalen of West Bend and Mrs. Beverly Wirtz of Whittemore.
Also surviving are 36 grandchildren and three brothers, George of Brandgate, Archie of Des Moines and Herschel of Humboldt.
