George W. Miller was married on April 11, 1865 to Susan F. Shinault. Their children were Green L., Pernicia Ann, Georgia, Carrie C. and Robert F. Miller. Susan died after giving birth to Robert F. in 1880. Her grave is unknown. George remarried on September 12, 1880 to Mary Frances Long and their children were Walter Austin, Grover Cleveland, Charles Douglas and Will Aderan Miller.. His second wife, Mary Frances, is also buried in Opposition Cemetery, as are many of their children.
