She died of Chest Disease she suffered with for 4 years. A contributing factor was Chronic Uremia Disease.
Alice told about Pearl a few times and each time she became very emotional and cried. Pearl was two years younger than Alice and was a very "sickly" little girl. Alice said she felt so bad for her that she never seemed to get any better. According to Alice, "Pearl was such a pretty little girl."
Alice said Pearl was buried in the Quaker Meadows Presbyterian Church Cemetery, the same one where her mother and father were buried.
