George Boardman, Sr. was the 4th born child of Frank Boardman and Margaret Jane Willett Boardman. He married Lillian Gray on June 28, 1892 in Schenectady, New York. George and Lillian had four children: Horace F. Boardman (1894-1894); George Boardman, Jr. (1896-1975); Esther Boardman (1898-?); and Josephine Emeline Boardman (1910-1998).

There are no monuments for George Boardman, Sr., Lillian Gray Boardman or Horace F. Boardman at Lot 15, Sec. 92. Site needs major repair & cleaning. There are probably more stones not visible. Obelisk lists W.A. Tweedale. Lot was purchased by William A. Tweedale, Assigned to Lucas H. McChesney Nov. 27, 1854, reassigned to Frank Boardman Jul. 15, 1873.
